Commercial & Office

Office moves that don't cost you a working day.

Most commercial moves happen after hours or over a weekend, so your team comes back to a working office rather than a warehouse of boxes. Same crews, same equipment, same licensing as our residential work.

What we move

  • Offices and professional suites — desks, workstations, filing, conference furniture
  • Retail and showroom relocations
  • Medical and dental practices, including careful handling of equipment you specify
  • Warehouse and storage consolidation
  • Single-department moves and floor-to-floor reconfigurations

IT equipment travels in dedicated electronics boxes rather than blanket-wrapped. We'll disconnect and reconnect nothing electrical or plumbed — that stays with your own vendors, which is usually a licensing requirement rather than a preference.

Handled as standard

  • Certificates of insurance for your building and the destination
  • Freight elevator and loading dock reservations
  • Street parking permits where the city requires them
  • After-hours, overnight and weekend scheduling
  • Floor and doorway protection
Hotel and ballroom work, wrapped and staged

How commercial pricing works

The same two models as our residential moves — which one applies depends on where you're going, not on the fact that it's a business.

LOCAL

Staying in the same state

Priced hourly at $75 per worker, with the crew sized to the job. Larger offices simply mean more crew, not a different rate. See local pricing →

LONG DISTANCE

Crossing a state line

Priced on volume and mileage from our filed tariff, plus the flat Origin/Destination fee. See long-distance pricing →

Commercial jobs vary more than homes do, so an accurate quote usually needs a short conversation about your floor plan, access at both ends, and the hours you need us working. Start with the chat or the estimate form and a member of the team will follow up to size it properly.

Planning the move

Give us a floor plan for the destination if you have one, and label the furniture to match — it is the single biggest difference between a crew that places everything correctly the first time and one that has to move it twice. Where you don't have a plan, we'll work from a walkthrough.

Desks and cabinets need to be emptied before we arrive, the same as residential furniture. Drawer bottoms fail under load in transit. If you'd rather not have staff packing, we can pack the contents for you — see packing services on your estimate.

Before moving day

  • Confirm building access hours at both ends
  • Send us your COI requirements early — some buildings are slow to approve
  • Back up and disconnect IT ahead of the crew's arrival
  • Decide what is being disposed of rather than moved
